REFLUX RELIEF: The special shape of the bean bag is designed to help prevent GERD (reflux). The Snuggle Pod was created to be flexible and respond to you and your baby's needs. Post-feeding, just adjust the position of the beans to allow your baby to sit with his or her head in a more elevated position. By keeping your little one's head elevated, the pod has been designed to significantly reduce the symptoms of infant reflux and make sure that your little one has the kind of restful and healthful feeding experience that allows him or her to grow and flourish.
FLAT HEAD SYMPTOMS: The soft, moldable seat has been designed to prevent Plagiocephaly (flat head) in babies. Chibebe Snuggle Pods are widely credited by carers to make a significant difference in preventing the development of flathead. By nestling an infant on a flexible surface that also keeps pressure off the head by keeping it slightly elevated, the Snuggle Pod is designed to avoid or reduce the condition. The Chibebe baby bean bag design allows the Snuggle Pod to respond to a child's form, instead of forcing the child to adjust to the seat itself.
LARYNGOMALACIA: Infants with laryngomalacia (LM) will often present with inspiratory stridor, a sort of wheezing or high-pitched squeak that occurs during breathing. Seat Material: Stretch Lycra blend with soft padding for comfort and water-resistant backing.
Base Material: Durable Coated Polyester Fabric water-resistant backing for Easy Wipe Cleaning.
Filling Supplied: Optional. You can add bean filling to cart when you purchase the Snuggle Pod, or at most good department stores (ie: Walmart) for around $16.
About 10,265 beans, to be exact! But to save time counting, we recommend filling with approx. 65lt of beans (this is about 2/3 of a 100lt bag). The Chibebe Snuggle Pod has been designed to give your baby the most restful, safe & comfortable experience possible. Filling the Pod is always at the discretion of the carer.
The Pod is designed for Baby to be able to take in their surroundings and be a part of your daily activities with you. Overfilling the Snuggle Pod will make the surface too flat, and Baby will be staring at the ceiling, not at you or their surroundings.
Make sure the seat is inclined, so Bub is sitting upright, with their head resting back on the pod. Imagine yourself sitting in an adult beanbag. If it is too full, like a pouffe, you can't fully settle in it, and you would likely roll off, right? But if it were not so full, you are all nestled in it, the base is flat on the floor so you can't roll out of it, and you probably need a hand getting off it! It's the same idea with the Snuggle Pod for babies.
Filling it so that Bub can sit in it, not on it, means they can chill out and look around and even watch Peppa and her cheeky friends on TV, and not the ceiling!

The Chibebe snuggle pod is hands down the best baby accessory we’ve bought. We had an automatic rocker/swinger that our girl would usually sit in for 5 or maybe 10 minutes, if we were lucky. After seeing the snuggle pod online we bought it, almost questioning if it would be a waste of money and just another piece of baby junk. With a baby with reflux though we were prepared to give it a shot-anything to help with the hours we were having to hold her to help ease the reflux.
From the moment our girl first snuggled in it, she’s loved it. ‘Loved’ doesn’t seem like it really sums up just how much she enjoys being on the snuggle pod-she’ll happily pod for hours, amusing herself or enjoying chatting to whoever is around. The rocker is a cool add on-we’ll sometimes rock it with a foot, but most of the time she likes the gentle rock from just kicking her own legs. I don’t know exactly why she loves it so much, but she just seems so comfy and content in it.
The snuggle pod has quickly become a necessity in our house. It’s so light we just move it wherever we are in the house and our little girl is able to stay comfortable, part of the action and safe. A winner at helping keeping her upright to ease the reflux and she’s so cleverly strapped in we feel confident it’s secure, so much more than the rickety other swing/bouncer we have (despite paying more $ for it). It’s also helped ease my growing new mum anxiety about her favouring one side of her head when she lays down-no flat head with the super soft snuggle pod inner of beans!
We didn’t buy the pod warmer originally, thinking she would probably never stay in it long enough to justify the extra purchase. We’re definitely going to buy one now...we have no doubt she’s going to love snuggling up in her pod well into the cooler months ahead.
We bought the snuggle pod when she was about 7 weeks old...our only regret is not finding it sooner!

I was given this snuggle pod n rocker as a gift when i was pregnant with my little boy and i just love it! I love the bird print and the interchangeable coloured seats. It is so beautifully made and the fabrics are great quality. i Also love the fact it is an item that he won't only use as a baby but he can use it for years as a small child. I have also ordered one for my friend for her baby shower!!
